Awh shittttttt...
Subscription running out, I've got one day and eight hours. Man.

Well, there is no way I'm going back to dA without a subscription, so I will have to invest and buy a new one again. At only $40-ish NZD it's not a bad deal, 12 months of it will do. The search function... My God. Searchhhhhhhhhh. Rules. And it would be pretty lame without all the journal features as well, I'm not going back to old ~AstronomyDomine... I think I'll try the Beta Tester stuff as well, when I get a new sub, and actually put a bit more effort into dA. Semester end is coming up, so I'll have a bunch of time during the holidays.
I'll be coming up on two years at dA, this December, what a milestone... Hopefully I'll actually start to turn out some decent photomanipulation pieces, and start getting some more rewards out of it.

Ok I'll get back to you all later. But for now I think...

I have surprised myself.
I seem to have found some renewed old spirit for deviantART.

School is going to be seriously evil to me in the next few weeks though, not looking forward to it.
Two weeks ago we had a set of practice exams, and the semester end is only three weeks away. Coming up in the last week, I have three internal assessments. Yay... So I won't have a lot of time to exercise many of the ideas I have come up with lately. On that note...

I need to know all about stock accounts on dA, I'm trawling through searching for them.
Please list any stock accounts you know of.

I have one major project in the pipelines, I'd say it's probably over halfway done. It's themed on the song Vicarious from Tool's latest album 10,000 Days (possibly out of honor for *lateralusSPIRAL /Hazel? =P Heh I dunno), and that's all I'll tell you for now.

That will do for now, I'll see you all later.

Take it easy everyone!! :wave:

Mmmm sporadic activity.
No promises anymore, 'cause I know I'll never keep rigidly to them.

I'm never going to leave for good though, I've put too much work into this place to just pick up a dissappear forever. So I'll stick around, clearing my messages and replying to anything important. In terms of art, I really don't know. The plan is to go back to more photomanipulation, but I'm not counting on any massive output. I'll be sure to look around at any ideas that crop up though.

I've got really into Le Parkour: L'art du Deplacement lately, and it's one of the reason why I haven't been doing much art. It's been really good for my health and fitness, for those of you who don't know about it check out this link: [link]
It changes your outlook on stuff, it really does. I've been amazed by it. I might submit some photos from that, maybe I could even find a way to theme some art around it.

In other news:
Dreamer by Tommy Bolin is possibly the best song ever written. Check out his album, Teaser. There is some fantastic guitar work on that, songs like Teaser and Savannah Woman are awesome stuff.

I'm doing a big cleanout of my entire dA account.
Deviantions, journals, and probably favourites too if I get around to it. So lots of things may start dissappearing. But not too much will change I don't think.

Disclaimer: I am aware that the content below is seriously random and twisted, I plead temporary insanity in advance.

This started pretty much all started with the following lines:
Jason: you know whatd be hilarious, setting a group of bears or dogs on an animal rights convention/meeting
Jason: because they couldnt do shit about it
Jason: the irony, and everything else
Jason: theyd be like oh shit, whatre we gunna do, and one of them picks up a gun, and is like "no i cant shoot animals" *mauled*
And Jesus, it just all went to hell from there. We started discussing the best ways to own people with animals, interesting and twisted ways. You can probably guess what sort of things, armoured-battle-panda's came up somewhere, along with a multitude of other things. Anyway the best part of it was the penguin bit, read on below.

Random Moment of the Day ... (Penguin Ownage):
*AD: You know how penguins slide across the ice on their bellys?
Jason: yes
*AD: Imagine sitting on the penguins back and riding it across the ice
*AD: That would be just about the 1337est thing possible
Jason: roflmao *-)
Jason: heh, it would
Jason: if you could steer it
Jason: and had reigns, and everytyhing
Jason: and you come flying out at people from the sea
*AD: Omgz yeah that would own
*AD: Riding and penguin across the ice, and you've got a club to own those seals that you pass
*AD: Clubbing seals while mounted on a pengiun
Jason: roflmao
Jason: awesomeness
*AD: Fly out of the water on this penguins back, club this seal and slide off back into the water
*AD: Man that would be ownage personified
Jason: youve got to ask someone on dA to draw that...
Jason: can picture it now
Jason: you can see ink messages, right?
*AD: Yeah

Jason: *draws a picutre using MSN ink messages* [link] //VISIT THAT LINK!!//

*AD: ROFLMAO!
*AD: *Screenshot*
Jason: :P
Jason: see, now that done properly would just own so bad...
*AD: I'll have to find someone to
Jason: you so do

Well this has been a pretty non-event journal, I really haven't got a lot to report but I really wanted to share that thing about the penguin with people. If anyone thinks they can draw that properly, or knows anyone else who can that might want to, damn you will be the best person on dA! I really need to find someone interested in that, but for the mean time I'll concentrate on my own art;

Revelation...I think...

Mood: Awe inspired...
Listening to: Brothers in Arms - Dire Straits
Reading: The Day of the Jackal - Frederick Forsyth

I’m doing a huge change of how I present my journal, just making it more interesting and whatnot. It's been on the to-do list for ages, and now I'm finally getting around to making it a more visual thing as opposed to just text on a random topic. So now I guess that all this work has gone into improving it, I am therefore obligated to update religiously? Meh I'll be a little more frequent that's for sure, just getting back into the whole dA scene after exams again, but only when I really have something interesting to say or report I guess. Hope this looks better.

Right so we're sitting in our maths class today, deep into the realms of dy of dx and all that calculus jazz, teacher droning on and as you do on a Monday morning of school, the light in your eyes begins to fade. To hell with this, yeah sure exams are just around the corner, but it's only maths; "If knowledge is power, and maths is knowledge...Then power is boring...". Anyway, I'm into the humanities like English, history, classical studies and my foreign languages like French and Latin. So I'm not mega-concerned with maths, switching off in class didn't seem like a big deal at all.
So me and this guy Gabriel Loh (uber-good guy by the way!) block out the monotony of Stage One 3-Dimensional Calculus, and start talking about exams coming up, which seemed like a more pressing matter. All that study on the way, and we start chatting about what we plan to do and how each of us goes about studying. Then we had this revelation, and I'm sure someone has done this before, but hell I thought it was awesome at the time. Study looked at from a sheer maths and algebra point of view:

Study = No Fail (1)
No Study = Fail (2)

(1) + (2)
Study + No Study = Fail + No Fail

Factorise it:
Study (1 + No) = Fail (1 + No)
Study (1 + No) = Fail (1 + No)
Study = Fail
No Study = No Fail

Study for what?

Now I'm sure my mate Gabe and I are not the first ones to come up with this, but I found it great at the time, and as much as I would love to believe it I don't think it would go well as a work ethic. So yeah, there you go random moments in my life that I feel I need to share with people. If someone has seen this before please let me know, I'd love to see the original version by the genius who came up with this.

(Warning/Achtung: Side stories follow, if you don't actually care then don't click this link. You are invited to escape by clicking the red box in the top-right-hand corner of your screen. Thanks/Danke.)

Well that's me, I'm out. Leaving school for a big adventure overseas pretty soon, so I don't know how much I'll be around. But hey I may as well be dead for all anyone knows, not like I'm super active or actually doing anything worthy here these days. Ah well it will come to me some time, inspiration that is...Hopefully. Well anyway;
Exams yo! Brb y'all! Take it easy everyone!! :wave:
